Vasanti was the first Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team member to swim the English Channel. 25 years later in 2010, she completed a ‘Channel Triathlon’ across 3 countries, swimming the Channel and then biking and running to Aachen, Germany. Vasanti has been a member of the Heidelberg Sri Chinmoy Centre since the early 1980s.
