During an interview for television in Holland, Sri Chinmoy comments on how different regions of the world, languages and religions call God by different names, but refer to the same Creator.
Excerpt from the interview:
“There is only one God… Only we use the term in different ways. In your own language, we are in Holland, you are dutch, so here you may use a different word. In Bengali I use the word Bhagavan, in English they say God… but it is the same person, like an individual. He is the father at home, his children call him dad, daddy. His friends will call him by a different name, Mr. so and so…“
