Sundar Dalton became a disciple of Sri Chinmoy in 1970 during Sri Chinmoy’s first visit to Dublin, Ireland. He later moved to New York, US where Sri Chinmoy was based. For 50 years Sundar was closely connected to his Guru, serving in many fields such as selling Sri Chinmoy’s books, working as a waiter and barber.

He was also an excellent runner and volunteered for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in many of their race promotions.
