In this video selection, Sri Chinmoy explains briefly his philosophy on forgiveness and the past. Sri Chinmoy explains how to overcome unfortunate incidents and transcend previous achievements.
“(The) best attitude is to feel that we are already forgiven. If you can sincerely feel that you are forgiven, then you are one step ahead. (…) When I can say I am not going to do it anymore, and if I can fulfil my promise that I am not going to do it anymore (…), then God has forgiven me. (…) On the next few minutes, the next few days, prove that you are not doing it. Then God has forgiven you.”
