During an informal meeting with his students, Sri Chinmoy explains the effort necessary for God-realisation; he explains that for God-realisation we need to dedicate every action to pleasing God.
Excerpt from the interview:
“God-realisation attempt cannot be separated from one moment to another. It is inside the finite that you have to see the Infinite. People who want to realise God, who have that inner burning hunger cannot say that for five minutes we shall pray during the entire day of 24h. … In each action, you have to say: “This I am doing to please God. That I am doing… this moment, I am reading spiritual books to please God.”
