November 26 2011: The first annual Self-Transcendence 5K at took place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, NY. For many years, Flushing Meadows Park has been the location for the Self Transcendence 6 and 10 day races, and so this race was organized to support the park by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team, in appreciation for decades of support.
